Y5 Mathematicians attend Inside Maths at the Royal Institution

A group of high attaining mathematicians had a great time visiting the 2026 Inside Maths event at the Royal Institution. The host Zoe Griffiths shared her favourite shape, the mobius loop, whilst guest speakers Fran Watson and, friend of Dulwich Hamlet, Rob Eastaway shared their insights into Orgami in maths and the maths of magic respectively. The children had a fantastic time and were inspired by the setting and the subject matter. The unanimous verdict was that creating a giant Fractal Polygon made of repeating tetrahedrons was the best activity of the day.
